POK, continuous improvement: new product performance
With the aim of constantly evolving, POK guarantees its customers increasingly high-performance equipment. That’s why we recently improved our DN80 manual monitor: named LMP80. Recommended outlet equipment 2.5” or 3.5” (depending on the model), with flow rate 5000 lpm.
Our DN80 portable monitor and its functions
The DN80 manual monitor, made of anodised aluminium alloy, has several properties that make it easy to use in emergency operations. Its handwheel allows horizontal movement adjustment from -153° to +101°. Vertical movement adjustment (0° and +85°) is also possible using the handwheel. A locking system is provided for vertical and horizontal movements.
Our equipments are designed with precision: our teams design equipment with the safety of the people who use it in mind. That’s why the DN80 monitor has several safety systems. An automatic security system limits to 30° the vertical setting of the diffuser (can be unlocked through manual action). Moreover, our monitor is fitted with a locking device for the stabilising legs (using a hook) and a ring for securing it in place (strap supplied).
What’s new
Ergonomic and light, the manual monitor is compatible with diffuser offering flow rates of up to 5000 lpm at a pressure of 7 bar. This is an impressive performance for its compact size.
The monitor now has a pressure loss of 30%, which is considerably less than the previous one. In fact, 10 bar at the inlet for a pressure of 7 bar at the outlet of the monitor. This pressure loss has been reduced compared to previous models, thanks to an improved design. The shape of the waterway is now optimised to alow a better waterflow, avoiding sharp changes in angle that can result in a pressure loss.
