JULY 24, 2024 – HIGH-PRESSURE FIRE-FIGHTING EQUIPMENT

High-pressure equipment

To meet the needs of its customers, POK develops numerous products every year. Among these innovations, high-pressure equipment has recently been launched.

Why choose high-pressure equipment?

Global warming is increasing the number of forest fires worldwide. This clear trend is forcing firefighters to adopt new strategies and new equipment adapted to these types of intervention.

As a major player in fire-fighting, we make it a point of honor to meet these recent needs. That’s why we’re presenting today our high-pressure equipment, essential for forest firefighting operations.

High-pressure hand nozzles reduce water consumption when working outdoors, thanks to a limited flow rate and a pressure of 20 to 40 bar.

Our new POKET WYE PN40 divider

Our range of POKET WYE dividers has been extended with the arrival of a high-pressure version. Its bronze GFR DN20 couplings enable use at a nominal pressure of 40 bar, all in a compact format thanks to these valves equipped with key handles. This new divider has been designed with the storage capacity of intervention vehicles in mind.

Our high-pressure motorized hose reels

Our range of high-pressure hose reels (PN40) offers a capacity of 40 to 80 meters of SSP DN25 semi-rigid hose. It features a motorized rewinding system (± rewinding speed 0.5 m/s) with emergency crank handle. Our motorized reels are equipped with a torque limiter for motor and hose protection. This range offers various options: Ø 480 mm or Ø 610 mm flanges, left or right feed, hose guide.

Our star hand nozzle : the AQUASTAR

Our “Aquastar” high-pressure fire nozzle has been designed for use at a nominal pressure of PN40, and offers adjustable, easily selectable flow rates via their indexed rings. Rotation of the head ring, fitted with tactile markings, enables adjustment of the different stream pattern (straight stream pattern, attack stream pattern and wide stream pattern). They are made entirely of aluminum alloy with 50μm hard anodization. Two versions with stainless steel bodies are available.

Our new GFR PN40 couplings

High-pressure GFR couplings (PN 40) have been added to our range. These new references (50137 and 50138) comply with NF S61-701 GFR PN40 and NF EN ISO 228-1.

These fittings are ideally suited to our new KENOBI high-pressure hand lance range. This high-pressure equipment has been developed to simplify fire-fighting operations.
