An ally for firefighters
Located in Turckheim, near Colmar, the young firefighters of “Vignoble” group recently received significant support from POK. The aim of this initiative is to reinforce the training of these young recruits, the future lifeblood of the local fire stations.
POK, a key player in the training of young firefighters
Turckheim’s young firefighters have launched an educational trailer project. During training maneuvers, this trailer makes it possible to avoid mobilizing a response vehicle that might be unavailable in the event of force majeure.
This trailer can be used to transport the equipment needed for training maneuvers. To complete this tool, POK has donated several items of equipment that will enable young firefighters to train in optimal conditions, without having to mobilize equipment intended for intervention. In this way, all equipment remains available for emergency situations.
This equipment will follow the young volunteers throughout their career. From Cycle 1, to discover the equipment, to Cycle 4, for real-life situations.
Young Turckheimers can now learn about the foam extinguishing system, using an eductor and foam nozzles. High-quality hand nozzles are also included. Among them, the recently launched “KENOBI”, which allows users to familiarize themselves with the “pulsing” technique.
POK, close to its customers
The official handover of this equipment took place in September, during a meeting between POK, Corporal Thibaud Becker (representative of the Turckheim young firefighters) and Anthony, who supports him in training the young firefighters. The visit was an opportunity to find out more about the POK brand, its offices and its employees.
